News from the European Society for Diseases of the Esophagus

Each year, a multidisciplinary congress is organized by the ESDE. In 2013, it was held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. A faculty, consisting of 35 speakers from abroad and 25 from the Netherlands, were invited to give a lecture. The program covered both malignant and benign disorders of the esophagus and esophago-gastric junction, including diagnostic dilemmas, multimodality treatment of esophageal cancer, translational research...
